More than ever, companies are now expected to conduct their business in full recognition of socially-shared responsibility, in order to preserve the environment and to ensure health and safety of people harmonized with preservation of the global environment and local communities.
Since its inception, Tsurumi Soda has vigorously promoted the principle of standardization, which forms a foundation of its business activities.
Introduction of “Responsible Care” into this organization, entails incorporating the principle of standardization and implementing measures needed to preserve safety, health, and the environment. Tsurumi Soda has thus named this unique company guidance principle “Responsible Care based on Standardization” and is proactively implementing this vision.
 
Working towards creating new added value
Tsurumi Soda is taking concerted efforts to establish the Responsible Care based on Standardization activity throughout the company. Production, research, sales, quality control, and engineering are proactively developing a comprehensive approach to the issues of environment, safety, quality, and disaster prevention. In addition, Tsurumi Soda is making every effort to enhance its enterprise value, as well as to provide high grade, high purity products through meeting client requirements that continue to become more stringent through the utilization of a more sophisticated PDCA cycle.

Responsible Care is a voluntary management activity related to the entire scope of manufacture and handling of chemical substances.
- Environmental protection (protect the health of people as well as nature)
- Disaster prevention (work to prevent disaster at company facilities)
- Occupational safety and health (protect the health and safety of company employees)
- Chemicals and product safety (clarify the properties of chemical products and handling methods, protecting the environment and the health and safety of all who handle chemicals and products, including clients)
- Distribution safety (will strive to prevent accidents during distribution)
Responsible Care is an activity (product stewardship) that protects the environment and maintains safety throughout the entire process from development of the chemical substance to manufacture, distribution, use, final consumption, and disposal, or in other words, “from cradle to grave”.
